Ealing Flutes is an adult flute group that meets one Sunday a month between October and June. Rehearsals take place at St Mary’s Church, Perivale.
This is a stunning venue, and we are very lucky to be able to use it.
Currently the group is full but if you are interested, please contact me and I will arrange for you to come and join in one of our rehearsals. If you like what you see you can then join the waiting list.
We have a great time preparing music for fund raising events and our annual summer concert. Before each rehearsal there is coffee and biscuits (often really needed as the church can be a little chilly) and we are often treated to an impromptu concert of pieces usually in progress towards a future performance. This can be solo pieces or one of the many ensembles that spring up alongside the main group. We really do have a lot of fun!
There is no minimum standard and the cost is on a 'pay-as-you-play' basis of £10.00 per session. For the less experienced there is always help on hand to support you – we are a very friendly bunch!
